Entoto Kiddus Raguel Church & Rock Chapel

On the western spur of the Entoto ridge, the octagonal Kiddus Raguel church (Menelik-era, with fine murals) stands near an older rock-cut chapel used by hermits centuries earlier. Far fewer visitors make it here than to Entoto Maryam, and the views over the Sululta plain and city are superb.
☀️ Local tip
Roads are rough — come by 4x4 or as a hike from Entoto Maryam; a small donation to the caretaker opens the painted church.
