The 1961 modernist hall where the Organisation of African Unity was founded reopened in October 2024 after a $57m restoration, complete with a visitors' centre, permanent exhibition and Afewerk Tekle's magnificent 150m² stained-glass 'Total Liberation of Africa'. A pilgrimage site for pan-African history buffs.
